For this card that I created I used the following products: Caribbean Sea Dye and Butterscotch Dye Inks from MFT. Lots of Christmas Cheers Stamp and Dies, Slim Line Stitched and Scalloped Rectangles and Alpha Die Cutting System and Mini Slim Line Stitched and Scalloped Rectangles Die Cutting System all from Picket Fence Studios. I also, used Petite Gingham Paper Pad from MFT and Spring Fling Sequin Mix from PFS.
Let’s start! First, I die cut a scalloped panel using the small die from Mini Slim Line Stitched and Scalloped Rectangles Die Cutting System. To create the background I used the smashing technique with the Butterscotch Dye ink and the scalloped panel. Then I let it dry.
Once the panel was dry, I placed the Slim Line Broken Fence Stencil on top of it and applied Paper Glaze Enhancer for extra texture. When this medium was dry I adhered a note card at the back using glue. Additionally, I die cut a scalloped circle out of one of the Petite Gingham Paper Pad using one of the died from the Slim Line Stitched and Scalloped Rectangles and Alpha Die Cutting System. place the scalloped circle on top of the background.
I stamped one of the images from Lots of Christmas Cheers Stamp, colored it using Copic markers and die cut it with the matching die. I placed the. image on top of the scalloped circle using glue.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Fancy Friendship Sentiments Stamp using Caribbean Sea Dye Ink and die cut it with the coordinating die. I added this sentiment to my background along with a few sequins from Spring Fling Sequin Mix and this card was finished.
